LKB OPTIQUE 2022

Daali consortium members at OPTIQUE 2022

Julien Laurat and Alban Urvoy, researchers of the Quantum networks Team at Kastler Brossel Lab (LKB) and members of the DAALI project, attended OPTIQUE 2022, the annual meeting of the Societé Française d’Optique (SPO), held from July 4th to 8th in Nice, France

Laurat gave a talk in the Collective phenomena with photons session about quantum memories based on cold atoms, and Urvoy presented a poster showcasing the team’s work on waveguide-QED. The SFO annual meeting is one of the largest international events devoted to showcasing the latest achievements of all-optical sectors in France.

The meeting aims to provide a global vision of cutting-edge research from basic to applied, industrial developments, and educational innovations. Leading experts structure the congress around ten plenary conferences and thematic conferences and it includes several poster sessions. 635 participants attended the 2022 edition. The organizers scheduled 247 oral presentations and participants presented 184 posters during the congress.
