“Meet DAALI’s young researchers” videos published
In an effort to showcase the vision and perspectives of its young researchers, the DAALI consortium has produced not only a series of 8 interviews but also a teaser. Specifically, the goal of these videos is to present the project and its scientific activities through the eyes of the consortium’s PhD students and postdocs.
Furthermore, the videos not only delve into the specific research activities undertaken by these young scientists within the project, but they also offer a more personal glimpse into their lives. In particular, the interviews explore the career challenges, concerns, and future aspirations of these promising researchers, thus providing a well-rounded perspective on their experiences in the field.
The videos feature interviews with a diverse group of young researchers from across Europe. For instance, among those featured are Daniel Goncalves and Jan Lowinski, both PhD students at ICFO. Additionally, the series includes Xinxin Hu and Luke Masters, from Humboldt University; Anaïs Chochon and Tridib Ray, from Laboratoire Kastler Brossel at Sorbonne University. Moreover, the videos also showcase Sukanya Mahaprata, a PhD student at C2N- Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies, as well as Lisa Bombieri, a master’s student from the University of Innsbruck.
Furthermore, the interviews were recorded at the ‘Delving into light-matter interactions and their applications‘ workshop, organized by the project in October 2022 in Castelldefels, Spain.
Therefore, if you’re curious to hear their perspectives on physics, quantum physics, and their research, be sure to check out their short interviews:
