Julien Laurat and Alban Urvoy, researchers of the Quantum networks Team at Kastler Brossel Lab (LKB) and members of the DAALI project, attended the OPTIQUE 2022, the annual meeting of the Societé Française d’Optique (SPO), which was held from 4th to the 8th of July in Nice (France).
Laurat offered a talk in the Collective phenomena with photons session about quantum memories based on cold atoms and Urvoy presented a poster showing the team’s work on waveguide-QED.
The SFO annual meeting is one of the largest international events devoted to showing the latest achievements of all-optical sectors in France.

The meeting is aimed at giving a global vision of cutting-edge research from basic to applied, industrial developments and educational innovations. The congress is structured around ten plenary conferences and thematic conferences by leading experts and includes several poster sessions. 635 participants attended the 2022 edition. 247 oral presentations were scheduled and 184 posters were presented during the congress.
